Senior defender/forward Hailie Mace of the UCLA women's soccer team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 19-25.

Mace scored both of UCLA's goals in the Bruins' 2-2 tie at North Carolina in the NCAA quarterfinals, scoring 53 seconds apart to quickly erase a 2-0 second-half deficit. In the penalty shootout, Mace made her penalty kick, but the Tar Heels won the shootout, 4-2. Mace's clutch goals were her eighth and ninth of the season in just 13 games played, as she missed nearly half of the season while on U.S. Women's National Team duty. She finished the year ranked second on the team in scoring with 24 points and totaled 60 points in her career.

This is Mace's second UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award this season and fourth of her career.

Also nominated: Kennedy Burke, W. Basketball; Zana Muno, W. Volleyball; Kris Wilkes, M. Basketball; Caleb Wilson, Football.
