Hernandez, a senior forward from Madrid, Spain, has established a 3.81 GPA in Applied Mathematics while playing in all 18 of UCLA's games this season. She has tallied three goals and two assists this season after scoring six goals with one assist a year ago. A two-time member of UCLA's All-Academic team, Hernandez was a first-team Academic All-District and second-team Pac-12 All-Academic selection in 2017.

The Bruins have earned a total of 23 CoSIDA Academic All-District honors all-time.
