LEXINGTON, Ky. - For the second year in a row, senior Zana Muno was named to the AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Team, as announced on Wednesday.
Muno became just the 13th Bruin to receive multiple AVCA All-American honors.
Muno, who was also named AVCA All-Pacific South Region Honorable Mention and All-Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention, was tops on the team with 5.15 digs per set, which was first among Pac-12 liberos, as she also added seven service aces. Muno finished her UCLA career with 1,607 digs, ranking fourth in Bruin history. She posted a pair of 30-dig matches in the last month of the season, breaking the single-match school record with 38 digs on Nov. 8 against Washington State. In her final collegiate match on Nov. 23 versus USC, Muno had 35 digs. She had double figures in digs in 23 matches, going for at least 20 on 11 occasions.
