 The UCLA women's basketball team will look to even its record in its 10th game of the season, as the Bruins take on Oklahoma State on Sunday at 2 p.m. (PT).

Last Time Out

UCLA scored a season-high 89 points in a nine-point (89-80) win over Fresno State on Dec. 7 to halt a four-game losing streak.
 
Several Bruins had career nights, including senior Japreece Dean, who notched her first career double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, going 12-for-12 from the free throw line and dishing out seven assists.
 
Sophomore Michaela Onyenwere scored a career-best 29 points and went 11-for-12 from the charity stripe, while redshirt freshman Lindsey Corsaro and freshman Kiara Jefferson notched career highs for points with 15 and 11, respectively.
 
UCLA led by as many as 18 before Fresno State used an 18-6 run to pull within four (72-68) late. That's when Jefferson connected on back-to-back three's, and Corsaro later came up with the dagger to put the Bruins up six (81-75) with just one minute left to go.
 
UCLA shot 50 percent (26-for-52) from the field and 93.3 percent (28-for-30) from the free throw line.
  
At a Glance: Oklahoma State

The Cowgirls most recently took down Houston Baptist 77-44 on Dec. 8 in Stillwater, Okla.
 
Vivian Gray (16.9 ppg) led the way with 23 points on 8-for-18 shooting, while Mariam Gnanou scored a career-high 18 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Oklahoma State led 30-17 at halftime before a 13-2 run in the third quarter allowed the Cowgirls to extend their lead to 27.
 
Oklahoma State's only loss this season came to then-ranked No. 11 Tennessee by a final count of 76-63. UCLA will be just the second Power 5 conference team the Cowgirls have faced this season.
 
On the year, Oklahoma State is outrebounding its opponents by 11 per game, ranking 19th in the NCAA. The Cowgirls are also holding their opponents to 55.6 points per game.

The Series
Both squads have taken one game thus far in the two-game series.
 
Oklahoma State won the last meeting, which came last year in Stillwater on Dec. 8, 2017. Led by Loryn Goodwin's 27 points, the Cowgirls were able to hand UCLA just its second loss of the season by a final count of 87-72.
 
UCLA got 28 points, seven assists and seven rebounds from Jordin Canada but was outscored 20-6 in the opening quarter. Kennedy Burke added 12 points in the losing effort.
 
The only other meeting came on Jan. 8, 1985, which UCLA won at home 76-57.

Japreece Dean notched the fourth double-double by any Bruin this season and first of her career in UCLA's last time out vs. the Bulldogs with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
