LOS ANGELES โ A trip to New York and a pair of home meets at Drake Stadium highlight the 2019 UCLA track & field schedule.

The Bruins are set to compete in 18 meets during the 2019 campaign, eight indoor and 10 outdoor. The 2019 season will begin on Jan. 11 with the Northern Arizona University Friday Night Challenge in Flagstaff, Ariz.

UCLA will travel to the Big Apple on Jan. 25-26 to compete in the Columbia Challenge, and the Bruins will have two home meets โ the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival/Jim Bush Legends Invitational on March 29-30, followed by the Rafer Johnson and Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on April 13.

A showdown with crosstown rival USC will take place on April 28, as the Bruins will look to avenge last season's setback at Drake Stadium.

The NCAA Indoor Championships will take place on March 8-9 in Birmingham, Ala., while the NCAA Outdoor Championships are set for June 5-8 in Austin, Texas.

This season, the University of Arizona will host the Pac-12 Multi Championships (May 4-5) and Pac-12 Championships (May 11-12), which will take place in Tucson, Ariz.
