LOS ANGELES -- A school-record 11 Bruins received MPSF All-Academic accolades, as announced by the league office today. The previous high was eight players earning All-Academic honors in 2003. The total was also the highest in the league this year with Stanford registering 10 All-Academic performers, followed by California with seven, Penn State Behrend with four and USC with two.

To make the MPSF All-Academic team, the student-athlete must have completed one academic year at the institution, have at least a 3.0 grade point average and have played in 50 percent of the team's games in 2018.

The 11 from UCLA are seniors Austin Rone, Warren Snyder and David Stiling, redshirt junior Alex Wolf, sophomores Felix Brozyna-Vilim, Luke Henriksson, Evan Rosenfeld, Nicolas Saveljic and Chasen Travisano, redshirt sophomore Peter Lovas, and redshirt freshman Bailey Jarvis.

Rone, an attacker from Coronado, Calif. (Cathedral Catholic HS), earned All-Academic honors for the third straight season (freshmen are not eligible). He played in 28 games making five starts, scoring 31 goals. He also registered 16 assists, 16 steals and 12 field blocks.

Snyder, a defender from La Cañada, Calif. (Harvard-Westlake School), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 23 games making four starts on the year. He scored 13 goals and tallied four assists, six steals and five field blocks.

Stiling, an attacker from Beaverton, Ore. (Southridge HS), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 27 games, making 21 starts on the year. He scored 10 goals while registering nine steals and seven field blocks.

Wolf, a goalkeeper from Huntington Beach, Calif. (Huntington Beach HS), earned All-Academic honors for the second time in his career. The 2017 NCAA Championship MVP played in 20 games making 20 starts. He registered 189 saves on the year while sporting a goals against average of 6.79.

Brozyna-Vilim, a utility from Santa Monica, Calif. (Harvard-Westlake School), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 28 games, making 13 starts on the year. He scored 31 goals while registering three assists, 13 steals, three field blocks and drawing 40 exclusions, including a team-high 15 penalties.

Henriksson, an attacker from Bell Canyon, Calif. (Harvard-Westlake School), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 27 games, making 10 starts on the year. He scored 12 goals while registering 13 assists, 17 steals and 10 field blocks.

Rosenfeld, a utility from Thousand Oaks, Calif. (Harvard-Westlake School), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 28 games, making 17 starts on the year. He scored 13 goals while registering seven assists, 14 steals and four field blocks.

Saveljic, an attacker from Kotor, Montenegro. (Maritime School Kotor), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 28 games, making 14 starts on the year. He scored 51 goals while registering 10 assists, 24 steals and nine field blocks.

Travisano, an attacker from Glendora, Calif. (Damien HS), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 28 games, making five starts on the year. He scored 20 goals while registering 15 assists, 16 steals and four field blocks.

Lovas, an attacker from Budapest, Hungary (Csik Ferenc Secondary Grammar School), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 18 games, making three starts on the year. He scored 17 goals while registering 10 assists, nine steals and six field blocks.

Jarvis, a defender from Walnut Creek, Calif. (Las Lomas HS), earned All-Academic honors for the first time in his career. He played in 27 games, making 11 starts on the year. He scored 10 goals while registering four assists, five steals and three field blocks.
