
Senior guard Kennedy Burke of the UCLA women's basketball team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 4-10.
Burke scored a career-high 26 points in the Bruins' 100-90 upset win at No. 17 Utah on Sunday and became the 22nd player in program history to record 500 career field goals. Burke made a career-best 11 field goals in the contest and came up big in the final 20 minutes, scoring 14 points in the second half. On Friday at Colorado, she totaled 10 points, helping her climb into the top 20 in women's hoops history for career points.
This is Burke's second UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award this season and of her career.
