The No. 5 UCLA men's volleyball team dropped No. 10 Lewis, from the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA), in four sets in a non-league match played in Romeoville, Ill. on Saturday night. Scores of the contest were 18-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-20. Dylan Missry put down a season-best 18 kills to lead the Bruin attack. UCLA outhit the Flyers .336 to .262. Each team recorded three aces. UCLA won the battle at the nets 10.5 total blocks to 8.5. The Bruins will take an 8-2 record into next week's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) matches at home against No. 8 Stanford (Thursday) and No. 3 BYU (Saturday).
