Senior guard Kennedy Burke of the UCLA women's basketball team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 18-24.

Burke scored a career-high 29 points to lead UCLA to a historic 74-69 win at No. 2 Oregon, handing the Ducks their first home loss and giving Cori Close her biggest win as head coach. Burke, who made a career-high 12 field goals, shouldered the load offensively as UCLA came from 22 down to stun Oregon, which was a No. 1 seed in the bracket predictions. The Bruins collected their third top-five win under Close and notched their biggest win since defeating No. 2 Stanford at home in 2008. Burke also moved to No. 18 all-time in program history for career points, passing Anne Dean (1,364), who played for the Bruins from 1983-86. Burke followed that up with a 14-point, six-rebound and four-steal performance at No. 12 Oregon State on Sunday afternoon.

This is Burke's third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award this season and of her career.
