SAN FRANCISCO -- Game times and television information for four 2019 UCLA football games were announced by the Pac-12 Conference office Thursday.
The Bruins will kick off their season Thursday, Aug. 29 at 4 p.m., PT with a visit to Cincinnati. ESPN will televise UCLA's first-ever visit to Nippert Stadium, which represents the second half of a home-and-home series with the American Athletic Conference's Bearcats.
The home slate will be opened Saturday, Sept. 7 at 1:15 p.m., PT against San Diego State of the Mountain West Conference. Pac-12 Networks will provide coverage of the first of UCLA's six scheduled home games. The SoCal schools last squared off Sept. 5, 2009, when the Bruins registered a 33-14 victory in the teams' season opener.
Making a return trip to the Rose Bowl Saturday, Sept. 14 are the Big 12 champion Oklahoma Sooners, who UCLA will host at 5 p.m., PT on FOX. The teams have alternated wins in their last two meetings, as the Bruins posted a 41-24 victory on Sept. 17, 2005 at the Rose Bowl and the host Sooners triumphed 49-21 on Sept. 8, 2018.
UCLA's second Thursday game, scheduled for Oct. 17 at Stanford, will begin at 6 p.m., PT on ESPN. The Bruins will also play conference road games at Washington State (Sept. 21), Arizona (Sept. 28), Utah (Nov. 16) and USC (Nov. 23).
