ROCHESTER, N.Y. - UCLA women's golf alum Patty Tavatanakit made it back-to-back wins on the Symetra Tour on Sunday, cruising to a seven-shot victory at the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic. Tavatanakit shot a 5-under 67 at Brook Lea Country Club to finish with a 72-hole score of 20-under 268.
In just her sixth professional event, Tavatanakit opened with a 3-under 69, which was followed by a 5-under 67 and a 7-under 65 to open up a five-shot lead heading into Sunday's final round. In just four Symetra Tour events, Tavatanakit has moved up to fourth in the Volvik Race for the Card. The top 10 players at the end of the season will earn LPGA Tour memberships.
Tavatanakit won the Donald Ross Classic last week.
