WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Bruin alum Manav Shah won for the third time on the Golden State Golf Tour, wrapping up a two-shot victory on Thursday at the Walnut Creek Open at the Boundary Oak Golf Course. He finished at 17-under 199 for the 54-hole tournament, shooting a 7-under 65 in round one, a 6-under 66 in round two and a 4-under 68 in the final round. Shah made 18 birdies and an eagle.
Shah won twice in 2018 on the Golden State Golf Tour at the Motor City/ESPN Bakersfield Open last February and the Mission Hills Challenge last September.
