The UCLA women's basketball team will open a three-game home stretch on Friday when it hosts 10th-ranked Oregon State. Tip-off time is set for 7:06 p.m. (PT) on the Pac-12 Network (Los Angeles).

Series History
This is the 74th meeting between UCLA and Oregon State, with the Bruins holding a 47-26 advantage in the series. While the Beavers have won eight of the last 11 meetings, the Bruins have taken three straight at home by an average of 21.7 points per game. Last season, UCLA, ranked 14th at the time, toppled then-ranked No. 16 Oregon State 84-49 at Pauley Pavilion. The 35-point difference tied for the third-largest win over Oregon State in program history. Michaela Onyenwere scored 12 points in the win, while Japreece Dean and Lajahna Drummer added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
 
UCLA's Last Time Out
The Bruins nearly came away with an upset over No. 6 Stanford, but a cold third quarter doomed UCLA for an 86-80 setback, the team's first loss in seven games.
 
UCLA, which led by seven (45-38) at halftime, was led by Dean's 22 points on 10-for-17 shooting to go along with four assists and four rebounds.
 
Onyenwere collected her fifth double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Lindsey Corsaro and Kennedy Burke added 14 and 11 points, respectively.
 
Getting Hot at the Right Time
UCLA is 6-1 in its last seven games, including 2-1 in Pac-12 play. During this hot streak, the Bruins have eclipsed the 80-point mark four times and have shot 45.1 percent (205-for-455) from the field and 75.6 percent (102-for-135) from the charity stripe. UCLA has owned a +12 margin on the glass and has an overage margin of victory of 14.9 points in its last seven games as well. 
 
Onyenwere on Another Level
Onyenwere has been on another level this season, having posted five double-doubles, including a 27-point, 12-rebound effort at USC to open Pac-12 play. She has scored 25 or more five times, including a career-high-tying 29 points at No. 18/19 Cal. In Pac-12 play, Onyenwere is averaging a double-double (22.3 PPG, 10.7 RPG) on 45.8 percent (27-for-59) shooting. She has also gone 7-for-16 (43.8 percent) from deep (only had one for her career prior).
 
Home Cookin' in Pac-12 Play
The Bruins have continued their dominance at Pauley Pavilion this season, posting a 6-1 record in 2018-19. In the last four seasons, UCLA has gone 52-4 at home, including 26-1 in Pac-12 play. The Bruins went 9-0 at home in conference play in both 2015-16 and 2016-17. UCLA's only home loss in Pac-12 action in the last 27 games was against then-ranked No. 9 Oregon (70-61) on Jan. 7, 2018.
