UCLA Gymnastics Announces 2020 Schedule

UCLA Gymnastics has announced its 2020 schedule, which is highlighted by six regular season meets and the NCAA Regionals all being held in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom. The Bruins have eight dual meets scheduled on national television.
The Bruins, under the direction of first year head coach Chris Waller, will begin the 2020 season on Jan. 4 against defending NCAA champion Oklahoma, along with California and Stanford, at the Collegiate Challenge in Anaheim. A week later, the Bruins will host Boise State in the home opener on Jan. 12, the first of seven dual meets televised on Pac-12 Networks.
UCLA will travel to BYU for a Jan. 17 meet with the Cougars and Utah State, marking the first time since 1996 the Bruins have competed in Provo, Utah, and then will open Pac-12 play at Stanford on Jan. 27. The Bruins return home on Jan. 31 to host Washington in a Friday night meet, followed by another home conference meet against Arizona on Feb. 9. After a road meet at Arizona State on Feb. 15, the Bruins will host conference rival Utah on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3pm in a meet nationally-televised by ESPN2, then will travel to Oregon State for a Feb. 29 matchup in Corvallis.
UCLA will close the regular season with a pair of home meets against California on Mar. 8 at 1pm and against Bridgeport on Mar. 14 at 2pm. The Mar. 14 meet will be Senior Day for the Bruins' outstanding senior class of Anna Glenn, Grace Glenn, Felicia Hano, Madison Kocian, Gracie Kramer, Kyla Ross, Mercedez Sanchez and Macy Toronjo.
Postseason begins on Saturday, Mar. 21 with the Pac-12 Championships in West Valley City, Utah. Both sessions will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks at 1pm and 6pm MT. UCLA will host one of four nine-team NCAA Regional meets from Apr. 2-4. The other Regional hosts are Oklahoma, Denver and Penn State. The top two teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The NCAA semifinals will take place Apr. 17, with the top two teams advancing to the four-team final on Apr. 18.
UCLA returns eight All-Americans from last year's NCAA championship squad, including reigning NCAA vault and floor exercise co-champion and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Kyla Ross, 2016 Olympic gold and silver medalist Madison Kocian, 2019 Pac-12 vault co-champion Felicia Hano and 2019 Pac-12 balance beam co-champion Grace Glenn.

Additionally, ticket orders for seating in the designated UCLA section (as space permits) at the Pac-12 Championships will be taken at the UCLA Central Ticket Office until Oct. 21.
