The UCLA volleyball community was saddened to learn of the recent passing of Glen Egstrom in early October at age 90. Egstrom was a member of UCLA's USVBA Championship team in 1956. He then went on to become coach of the UCLA men's volleyball team in 1959. He coached Al Scates, among others, and was then succeeded as coach of the UCLA team by Scates in 1962. In 1966, he co-authored a book called Volleyball.
