LOS ANGELES – UCLA head coach Mick Cronin and seniors Prince Ali and Alex Olesinski will represent the men's basketball program at Pac-12 Men's Basketball Media Day on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
 
Cronin, The Michael Price Family UCLA Men's Head Basketball Coach, will be making his first appearance at Pac-12 Men's Basketball Media Day since being hired as the program's head coach in April. He will be accompanied by UCLA's two fifth-year seniors, Ali and Olesinski, at Pac-12 headquarters for the day-long event.
 
The Pac-12 Network will air "Inside Pac-12 Basketball: Men's Media Day" on Tuesday, starting at 12 p.m. (PT). Live coverage will run through 3 p.m. Head coaches and student-athletes from all 12 universities will be in attendance on Tuesday for the league's tip-off event for the men's basketball season.
 
In addition to airing on Pac-12 Network, the men's basketball media day show will stream live to Pac-12 Networks subscribers via the Pac-12 Now app and Pac-12.com, as well as across six Pac-12 Networks regional channels. Coverage on the Pac-12 Network will feature host Mike Yam, former UCLA basketball standout Don MacLean, and Ashley Adamson.
 
Head coaches and student-athletes from all 12 universities will be in attendance at Pac-12 headquarters on Tuesday for the league's tip-off event for the men's basketball season.
 
Pac-12 Network's digital platforms will stream podium sessions, starting as early as 10 a.m. (PT). The live stream will be available on Pac-12.com, the Pac-12 Now app, Pac-12's Facebook (@Pac12Conference) and Pac-12 Conference's Twitter (@pac12). UCLA's session is scheduled to air at 1:00 p.m. (PT).

UCLA'S FIFTH-YEAR SENIORS
Both Prince Ali and Alex Olesinski arrived at UCLA in the summer of 2015. They each missed the 2016-17 season with injuries and have completed their undergraduate degree requirements. Ali, a 6-foot-4 guard who grew up in The Bronx (New York), has played in 88 career games over three seasons, making 48 starts. Last season, he started 26 games, averaging 9.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He has scored at least 10 points in 32 career games and registered a career-high 23 points in a non-conference win against Hawai'i in Pauley Pavilion last season (Nov. 28, 2018). Ali earned his undergraduate degree in history and is currently pursuing a minor in music industry.
 
Olesinski, a 6-foot-10 forward who hails from Roswell, N.M., spent his final two years of high school attending La Lumiere School (Indiana). He has played in 73 career games through three seasons, averaging 2.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Last season, he competed in 17 games after having overcome a stress fracture in his right foot. Olesinski scored a season-high 12 points and grabbed a season-best seven rebounds in a Pac-12 contest at Utah (March 9, 2019). Olesinski earned his undergraduate degree in political science last spring, and he is currently pursuing his master's degree in education.
