Junior Christina Rice became the first UCLA woman in 14 years to earn cross country All-America honors, placing 37th at the NCAA Championships at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind.

Rice finished the 6K course in a time of 20:44.3, surging in the last 2K to move up 25 spots from 62nd place to 37th, securing All-America honors in her first NCAA Championship race. Rice, who qualified to the Championships with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA West Regionals, earned the UCLA women's 15th All-America honor and first since Ashley Caldwell in 2005.

On the men's side, Garrett Reynolds and Colin Burke wrapped their UCLA cross country careers by finishing 84th (31:50.6) and 121st (32:07.7), respectively. It was the third NCAA appearance for each senior. Both Bruins earned All-West Region and All-Pac-12 honors this season.

Arkansas won the women's title, and BYU took the men's championship, with both teams winning team titles for the first time. New Mexico's Weini Kelati won the women's individual title with a time of 19:47.5. Iowa State's Edwin Kurgat won the men's title with a time of 30:32.7.
