
Sophomore forward Cody Riley of the UCLA men's basketball team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 2-8.
Riley recorded career highs in points (21), rebounds (11) and field goals made (9) on Sunday, leading the Bruins past Denver, 81-62, in the team's only game of the week. Riley shot 9 for 13 from the field, recording his first double-double of the season. He scored 13 of his team-leading 21 points in the first half, as UCLA secured a 43-32 cushion at halftime.
This is Riley's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season and of his career.
