MELBOURNE, Australia - UCLA alum Patrick Cantlay won his Sunday singles match to help Team USA earn a two-point victory at The Presidents Cup at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club. The United States defeated the International team by a score of 16-14.

Cantlay, a Presidents Cup rookie, was one of only three of the 12 U.S. players to take part in all five sessions. He earned a point in Friday's foursomes, posting a 1-up victory with partner Xander Schauffele over Joaquin Niemann and Adam Hadwin. The same duo picked up another point in Saturday's foursomes versus Sungjae Im and Cameron Smith, winning 2 and 1. 

On Sunday in Australia, Cantlay went against Niemann in singles play. After trailing 1-up following the 10th hole, Cantlay won No. 12, 13 and 15, clinching the match on the 16th.
