Sixteen Runners Selected to Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll

Eight men's and eight women's cross country student-athletes were selected to the inaugural Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their work in the classroom.
Redshirt senior George Gleason (English) earned his fourth career academic honor from the Pac-12 conference, having previously received Pac-12 all-academic honors in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Redshirt senior Millen Trujillo (political science) and redshirt junior Chris Morzenti (history) each picked up their third career honor. Trujillo was a first-team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree in 2016 and 2018. Morzenti earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2017 and honorable mention in 2018. Redshirt juniors Andy Ehrenberg (statistics) and Riley Kelly (psychobiology) became second-time honorees. Ehrenberg was a second-team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree in 2018, while Kelly earned the same honor in 2017.
Receiving their first honors are sophomores Artin Allahverdian and Munir Kabbara, redshirt freshman Jett Charvet.
On the women's side, seniors Kelly Bernd (geography/environmental studies) and Claire Markey (statistics) were honored academically by the Pac-12 for the third time in their career, while junior Paige Carter (sociology) picked up her second career honor. First-time honorees are juniors Kira Loren (political science) and Grace McAuley (MCD Biology) and sophomores Gwyneth George, Kennedy Meyer and Annabelle Werner.
The Academic Honor Roll consists of all student-athletes on his or her respective team roster with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above. The student-athletes must have served at least one year in residence at the institution to be eligible to receive honors. A total of 43 Bruins across five sports (men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball) earned honor roll distinction.
