Dean Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of Week

Senior guard Japreece Dean of the UCLA women's basketball team has been selected the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 23-29).
Dean scored 21 points and added eight assists in No. 10 UCLA's 83-59 victory over USC. The win moved the Bruins to 12-0, tied for the most wins to start a season in program history. Dean tallied 14 points in the third quarter alone, including three three-pointers in the frame. She drained four three pointers in all, tied for her season-high. Additionally, Dean dished out eight assists with just one turnover on the afternoon, good for her third game this year with at least eight dimes.
This is Dean's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season and of her career.
