LOS ANGELES – UCLA junior forward Milan Iloski has been named to the 2019 All-Far West Region First Team, it was announced on Monday by the United Soccer Coaches.

It was the first career all-region honor for Iloski, who had a historically productive campaign in 2019.

The Escondido, Calif. native finished the regular season as NCAA leader in goals per game (1.06) and co-leader in total goals (17).

He was both a consistent and dynamic scorer this past season, recording a point in 11 of the 16 games he entered including 10 contests with a goal. The striker erupted for a school-record five goals against San Diego State on Oct. 6 and also notched a hat trick to lead the Bruins over then-No. 1 and defending national champion Maryland on Sept. 6. He was named the National Player of the Week by TopDrawerSoccer after both of those performances.

His 17 goals on the campaign were the most in a single season by a Bruin since Chandler Hoffman's 18 in 2011, and he is the first Bruin to finish with more than a goal per game since 1980 (Ole Mikkelsen, 1.22).

Iloski is also the first UCLA forward to garner first team all-region honors since Abu Danladi in 2015.
