Budgett Captures CRCA All-Conference Acclaim

Senior Saskia Budget of the UCLA women's rowing program has earned CRCA All-Conference accolades, as announced by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).

Honored as a second-team All-America selection in late June, Budgett played a pivotal role in UCLA's success during the 2019 spring season. She rowed seven seat in the varsity eight crew in every event, helping the Bruins secure a fourth-place team finish at the Pac-12 Championships on May 19.

Budgett has been recognized as an All-Conference selection by the CRCA for the second consecutive season. In fact, she has become UCLA's first rower since Marie Jacquet in 2016 and 2017 to have earned the CRCA's all-conference honor in consecutive seasons.

Hailing from Great Britain, Budgett lived in Switzerland prior to enrolling at UCLA as a freshman in 2015-16. She was a three-time honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic Team selection and twice secured All-Pac-12 Team honors.
