DES MOINES, Iowa โ Four Bruins in Alyssa Wilson, Justin Stafford, Kendall Gustafson and Kylie Price wrapped up their weekends at the 2019 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.

Wilson's best effort came in the hammer, where she earned an eighth-place finish, posting a mark of 65.36m (214-5) on her first attempt. She came in 16th in the discus at 46.36m (152-1), followed by a 17th-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 14.94m (49-0.25).

In the men's hammer, Stafford registered a top throw of 65.49m (214-10) on his third attempt of the day, landing him 16th place.

A member of UCLA from 2012-16, Price competed in the long jump, notching an effort of 6.07m (19-11) on her first attempt to finish 16th.

Gustafson, who in 2018 recorded UCLA's best heptathlon finish (fourth; 5,800 points) at the NCAAs since 2001, took ninth out of 16 competitors over the weekend, racking up 5,914 points. Her best finish came in the shot put, where she earned fourth with a throw of 13.43m (44-0.75).
