UCLA (0-1) will host San Diego State (1-0) on Saturday, September 7 at Spieker Field at the Rose Bowl at 1:15 p.m. PT. The game will be televised by Pac-12 Network. The Bruin IMG Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired over Sirius/XM, uclabruins.com and tunein.com and the TuneIn App. UCLA Athletics is proud to join our institution in celebrating UCLA's Centennial all season long. The football team will mark the Centennial with a UCLA 100 helmet sticker for every game, and a UCLA 100 jersey patch for all home games.
This will be the first meeting between the teams since the 2009 season when UCLA captured a 33-14 decision in a game played in the Rose Bowl. The Bruins own a 21-0-1 series mark against the Aztecs and are 13-0 in series games played in Los Angeles. The series began in 1922 and the tie game occured in 1924 (13-13).
The Bruins own a September record of 14-9 over the past seven seasons -- 2019 (0-0), '18 (0-4), '17 (3-2), '16 (2-2), '15 (4-0), '14 (3-0), '13 (2-0). UCLA will be looking for its first non-conference win since a 2017 victory over Hawai'i in the Rose Bowl. It has dropped its last six contests against non-conference opponents (2019- at Cincinnati; 2018-Cincinnati, at Oklahoma, Fresno State; 2017-Kansas State (bowl), at Memphis).
This will be UCLA's 23rd meeting with the Aztecs. UCLA is 45-8-2 all-time vs. teams in the current Mountain West Conference -- Fresno State (6-3), San Jose State (1-0), Nevada (1-0), UNLV (2-0), Hawai'i (3-0), Wyoming (0-1), Colorado State (2-0), Air Force (6-4-1), Boise State (1-0), Utah State (1-0), New Mexico (1-0), San Diego State (21-0-1).

โข The Bruins were 6 of 15 on third down conversions at Cincinnati, but scored both touchdowns on third down plays (75-yard pass play from Dorian Thompson-Robinson to Demetric Felton in second quarter and 7-yard pass from play Thompson-Robinson to Chase Cota) ... Both of Thompson-Robinson's interceptions came on third down (3rd and 13; 3rd and 7) and each were followed by Bearcat scoring drives ... Thompson-Robinson averaged 19.5 yards per completion to rank third nationally in the category after one game.
