UCLA senior Kyla Ross won her 10th career Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week award after recording a conference-best 39.750 in the all-around during UCLA's tri-meet win at BYU.
Ross, a senior from Aliso Viejo, Calif., also recorded her second consecutive and NCAA-record 11th career perfect 10 on uneven bars. Ross moved into a tie for fourth on the all-time list for career perfect 10s with 21. In addition to winning the all-around and uneven bars, she won balance beam with a season-high 9.975 and vault with a 9.875, while tying for second on floor exercise. Ross's marks helped UCLA record season-bests for team total (197.425), uneven bars (49.525) and balance beam (49.375).
Joining Ross as a Pac-12 weekly winner are a pair of California gymnasts – Specialist of the Week Emi Watterson and Freshman of the Week Nevaeh DeSouza.
No. 3 UCLA will open Pac-12 play on Monday, Jan. 27 at Stanford.
