JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. - Freshman Mason Greene closed with a 1-under 69 on Tuesday at the Goose Creek Golf Club to finish in a tie for sixth at The Joust.

Greene (+5, 215) opened with rounds of 2-over 72 and 4-over 74 on Monday before making five birdies in his final round on No. 14, 15, 4, 6 and 7 to go with four bogeys.

Two additional Bruins were playing as individuals in the tournament. Sophomore Ahmed Ali tied for 21st (+14, 224). He shot rounds of 4-over 74 and 7-over 77 on Monday and a 3-over 73 on Tuesday. Sophomore Rory Feng tied for 31st (+16, 226). He recorded rounds of 4-over 74, 5-over 75 and 7-over 77.

The next team event for UCLA will be the Southern Highlands Collegiate (March 1-3) at the Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas.
