LOS ANGELES – Standouts Jake Newman and Jonathan Vaughns signed National Letters of Intent to UCLA, head football coach Chip Kelly announced on Wednesday.
Newman and Vaughns, both products of St. John Bosco HS in Bellflower, Calif., join a class of 20 student-athletes who have signed with the Bruins since the start of December's early signing period. Eight of the signees attended high school in the state of California, four in Arizona, two in Georgia and one each in Connecticut, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
