SAN FRANCISCO - Junior Devon Bling was named Pac-12 Conference Golfer of the Month for the first time in his career on Wednesday, earning the award following a win and a third-place finish during the month of March.
In what proved to be the final tournament of the season, Bling was victorious at the Bandon Dunes Championship (March 8-10), posting a 54-hole score of 5-under 208. He opened with a 1-under 70, but entered the final round tied for the lead following a 4-under 67 in the second round. Bling's even-par 71 in the final round wrapped up his second collegiate victory.
Bling was under par in four of his six rounds in March, placing solo third at the Southern Highlands Collegiate (March 1-3), closing at 7-under 209. He opened and ended the event with 4-under 68s to finish one shot back of the individual lead.
Bling completed the 2019-2020 season with a combined score of 12-under, shooting 6-under in round ones, 2-under in round twos and 4-under in round threes for a scoring average of 71.0. He had five Top 20s in his seven tournaments, nine under-par rounds and five rounds in the 60s.
