UCLA's NCAA Academic Progress Rates (APR) remained at high levels, with each Bruin team recording four-year APR averages from 2015-16 through 2018-19 that are above the 930 score that the NCAA uses as a threshold for penalties.
Three Bruin teams received an APR Public Recognition Award with perfect scores of 1,000. The women's golf team earned its 11th consecutive public recognition award. Beach Volleyball received its fourth consecutive award, and men's cross country its third.
A total of 12 UCLA teams earned single-year perfect marks of 1,000 for the 2018-19 academic year – beach volleyball, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's golf, women's golf, gymnastics, women's soccer, swimming & diving, women's tennis, women's volleyball, men's water polo and women's water polo.
