LOS ANGELES -- UCLA Athletics announced today the launch of the Bruin Support Program, consisting of two options to ensure flexibility and security for its football and men's basketball season-ticket holders ahead of the upcoming Wednesday, July 1 renewal deadline.

The department is working closely with local and state health officials to develop guidelines that ensure the safest possible environments at the Rose Bowl and Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom during the 2020-21 athletic year. Understanding of concerns posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, season-ticket holders have been presented the choice of supporting in "Bruin Spirit" while renewing their seats for the 2021-22 seasons now at 2019-20 pricing.

Select-A-Seat events will be held in early August for football and early October for men's basketball. Any difference in price caused by change in seat location for the 2020 and 2020-21 campaigns can be used as credit toward future UCLA Athletics ticket purchases or the season-ticket holder's Wooden Athletic Fund (WAF) account, converted into a 100% tax-deductible donation to WAF or refunded in full.

Season-ticket holders who wish to take advantage of the new "Bruin Spirit" option will be invited to this year's Select-A-Seat event(s), but are under no obligation to participate. Those who renew their season tickets without participating will be automatically enrolled in the option, which allows season-ticket holders to keep their consecutive-year statuses and retain their ability to request 2020 postseason tickets while maintaining their support of UCLA student-athletes.

The opportunity to renew for the 2021-22 seasons at 2019-20 pricing and seat location is available for either option. The 2021 UCLA football season features a full seven-game home slate at the Rose Bowl, including the first-ever scheduled meeting with LSU.
