UCLA opposite Cole Ketrzynski was named the MPSF/Molten Offensive Player of the Week by the Mountain Sports Federation (MPSF) on Monday. Ketrzynski helped the Bruins sweep the Trojans in a pair of crosstown rivalry matches played last week at USC.

Ketrzynski paced UCLA in kills in each victory after being credited with 18 in a Thursday night contest and a career-high 21 spikes on Saturday. He added a career-high tying three aces in the first win of the week. Ketrzynski hit .294 for the pair of matches and rang up a career-best 23.5 points in the second win. The Toronto, Canada native totaled nine digs and five block assists for his week's work.

The Bruin sophomore was also named Off the Block's National Opposite of the Week for his efforts against the Trojans. Ketrzynski became the first Bruin to record at least 20 kills in a match since 2019 (Daenan Gyimah versus USC).

The men's volleyball team (4-2) remained in the No. 7 slot in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll. UCLA will host Concordia University, Irvine (0-3) on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom in its next match.
