PHOENIX - Sophomore Annabel Wilson posted a runner-up showing at the PING/ASU Invitational, shooting a 2-under 70 on Sunday at the Papago Golf Course to finish at 4-under 212 for 54 holes.
Wilson, who tied for second, made six birdies in her final round on the par-5 15th and ninth holes, the par-4 second, seventh and 18th and the par-3 fourth, adding four bogeys.
As a team, the Bruins finished 11th (+18, 882) after a 4-over 292 on Sunday.
Sophomore Emilie Paltrinieri tied for 17th (+1, 217), posting a 4-over 76 in her final round on four birdies on the par-5 10th, 15th and first holes and the par-4 sixth, six bogeys and a double. Sophomore Emma Spitz had a bounce back round with a 1-under 71, tying for 46th (+8, 224). She made four birdies on the par-5 10th and ninth holes and par-4 12th and second to go with three bogeys. Sophomore Yuki Yoshihara tied for 64th (+13, 229), shooting a 3-over 75. She made back-to-back birdies on the par-4 14th and par-5 15th holes and five bogeys. Junior Phoebe Yue (T-83, +27, 243) made two birdies on the par-5 10th and par-3 17th holes, eight bogeys, a double and a triple (+11, 83).
The final tournament of the regular season will be at the Silverado Showdown (April 5-7) at the Silverado Resort in Napa, Calif.
