Teagan Micah Named to Australia Olympic Team

Micah started four years at UCLA from 2016-19 and helped lead the Bruins to College Cup appearances in 2017 and 2019. She sits in UCLA's Top 3 for career saves (No. 2 with 248), career shutouts (No. 3 with 36) and career victories (No. 3, 62), and her career goals against average of 0.81 ranks ninth on UCLA's all-time chart. Micah holds the conference record with eight career Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week honors, and in 2016 she was selected to Top Drawer Soccer's Freshman Best XI first team.
A member of Australia's 2019 World Cup squad and 2017 Tournament of Nations championship team, Micah made her Matildas playing debut on June 15, 2021, shutting out Sweden, 0-0. She earned W-League Goalkeeper of the Year and Melbourne City FC Player of the Year honors in 2020-21.
Australia opens its Olympic competition against New Zealand on July 21. Following will be a matchup against Sweden on July 24. Group play will conclude on July 27 against the United States.
