San Francisco, Calif. – Charisma Osborne has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week, the Conference office announced Monday afternoon. It's the fourth-career Pac-12 weekly honor for Osborne and the 68th all-time for UCLA Women's Basketball.
Osborne averaged 19.0 points per game across UCLA's two-game sweep of USC this past week. The junior led all scores with a season-high 27 points at Galen Center on Sunday, Jan. 23, adding six rebounds and three assists in the victory. The Moreno Valley, Calif., native scored 11 points in the first quarter and 18 in the first half in the road contest It was her third game with at least 25 points on the year, also picking up a pair of steals on the defensive end.
She opened her week with an 11-point performance in the team's win over USC at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom, dishing out a season-high seven assists and grabbing six rebounds in the Bruins' 66-43 win on Thursday, Jan. 20. Thursday's win also saw Osborne tally a season-high four steals.
UCLA is back in action for a primetime matchup against Arizona on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Pauley. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. PT.
