LOS ANGELES – The UCLA softball team was selected as the No. 5 national seed for the NCAA Tournament and will host Regionals at Easton Stadium.
The first matchup for the Bruins will be on Friday, May 20 against (4) Grand Canyon at 7 p.m. PT. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+. Friday's first contest will feature (2) Ole Miss and (3) LMU at 4:30 p.m. PT on ESPN+.
UCLA will be making its tournament-record 37th appearance and has hosted seven consecutive Regionals dating back to 2014.

UCLA won its only meeting with Grand Canyon, 7-6, coming on Feb. 19, 2018. The Antelopes (39-14, 19-5 WAC) earned an automatic bid after defeating Stephen F. Austin for its first Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament title and NCAA tournament qualifier in program history.
UCLA leads the all-time series with Ole Miss, 5-1, and has not lost to the Rebels since March 4, 2005, which was a 14-inning affair. The Rebels earned an at-large bid, boasting a 38-17 overall record (12-12 SEC) after getting bounced out of the SEC Tournament by Arkansas.
UCLA is 28-1 all-time against LMU and owns a nine-game winning streak over the Lions. LMU finished its season with a 36-15 overall record (13-2 WCC) and punched its ticket with an automatic bid by winning the program's first West Coast Conference (WCC) title.
