Trevithick Named UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready

Women's Soccer

Forward scored two goals in two minutes in her first game in two years.

Senior forward Kali Trevithick of the UCLA women's soccer team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Sept. 6-11.

Playing in her first game since May 5, 2020, Trevithick scored two goals in a two-minute span and had another shot on goal in her nine minutes of play to help lead No. 1 UCLA to a 5-1 win over Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 11. Trevithick, who has endured multiple knee surgeries during her time at UCLA, had played in just 12 career games for a total of 473 minutes over the course of three seasons, most recently in the 2020-21 season, when she played 24 minutes in two games. She has scored four career goals in just 13 games and 482 minutes.

This is Trevithick's first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of her career.
