McMahon Selected Pac-12 Defensive Player of Week

Sophomore Quincy McMahon has been named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 23, 2022.
McMahon led top-ranked UCLA to a pair of road shutouts, downing Colorado 6-0 on Thursday and Utah 3-0 on Sunday while holding both teams to single-digit shot totals. McMahon also added an assist, her team-leading fifth of the season, on Lexi Wright's game-winning goal at Utah. The Bruins lead the Pac-12 with a team goals against average of 0.44 and also leads the conference with 10 shutouts.
This is McMahon's first-ever Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week award and UCLA's third of the season.
