Reilyn Turner Named UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready

Women's soccer forward scored two goals in the College Cup and was named Most Outstanding Offensive Player.

Junior forward Reilyn Turner of the UCLA women's soccer team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Nov. 28-Dec. 5.

Turner was named the College Cup's Most Outstanding Offensive Player after scoring the game-winner against Alabama in the 3-0 semifinal win and the game-tying goal with 16 seconds remaining in the championship game against North Carolina. Her goal against North Carolina sent the game into overtime, and the Bruins won the game 3-2 to capture their second NCAA Championship and UCLA's 120th. Turner finished the 2022 campaign with 25 points and a team-high-tying 11 goals, seven of which were game-winning goals. She has scored 20 points in each of her three seasons in Westwood and has moved into No. 9 on UCLA's career charts for goals (32) and game-winning goals (13).

This is Turner's second UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and fourth of her career.
