Clark Named UCLA Student-Athlete of Week presented by Ready

Junior forwarded recorded his second double-double of the season in the Bruins' win over UC Davis.

Junior forward Jaylen Clark of the UCLA men's basketball team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Dec. 20-25.

Clark registered his second double-double of the season, totaling 18 points, 11 rebounds and a team-leading three steals in the Bruins' 81-54 win against UC Davis on Dec. 21. Clark has totaled at least three steals in four consecutive games. He made 7 of 14 shots, including one of two attempts from 3-point distance, and was 3-for-3 at the free throw line. Clark's defensive prowess helped the Bruins outscore UC Davis by a 26-8 margin in points-off-turnovers. He ranks second on the team in scoring (15.7 ppg) and first on the team in rebounding (6.7 rpg) and steals per game (2.7).

This is Clark's second UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and third of his career.
