LOS ANGELES – Sophomore Sydney Johnson heads to Manhattan, Kan., to compete in the Carol Robinson Women's Pentathlon hosted by Kansas State University on Dec. 9.
Johnson competed in the heptathlon at the Pac-12 Championships on May 13-14, 2022, compiling 4,832 points across her weekend for 10th place overall. The sophomore placed second behind teammate Amber Jackson in the high jump at the 2022 dual meet against USC, finishing with a mark of 1.65m (5-05.00) for silver. Johnson notched a career-best mark of 1.73m (5-08.00) in the high jump at the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., on Feb. 11, 2022.
