Kobrine Selected UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

LOS ANGELES โ Redshirt junior Kevin Kobrine of the men's volleyball team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for March 29 โ April 4.

Kobrine hit a combined .511 with just two errors on 47 swings in a pair of wins over USC which produced 26 kills. He added three block solos and an assist at the nets along with one service ace. Kobrine has now totaled double-digit kills in each of his last five MPSF matches He averaged 3.81 points per set, 1.75 digs and 3.25 kills per set in the two victories. The .591 hitting percentage in the win at USC marked a season-high figure.

This is the first-career Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Kobrine.
