SAN FRANCISCO -- UCLA freshman Maggie Boyd (Flower Mound, Texas) and senior Lexy Denaburg (Merritt Island, Fla.) have been named the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week as announced by the league office today.
The Bruin duo remained undefeated on court one with an 11-0 record and has yet to drop a single set.
The pair beat three ranked teams over the weekend, defeating Cal Poly (RV), No. 6 Grand Canyon, No. 13 Florida Atlantic, and No. 16 Long Beach State.
They also clinched the win over the Beach, helping UCLA go 4-0 in the Battle for Los Angeles, all 5-0 sweeps.
UCLA is 13-1 on the year with 10 of those victories coming by 5-0 sweeps.
This is the first weekly honor for Boyd and the third for Denaburg (Mar. 31, 2021, Mar. 8, 2022).
