Nine former UCLA men's basketball players have been listed to rosters for the upcoming NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, which runs from July 7-17.

Two of the eight former UCLA players, Johnny Juzang (Utah Jazz) and Peyton Watson (Denver Nuggets), played in the NBA last season as rookies. Jules Bernard (Washington Wizards) spent the 2022-23 season in the NBA's G League with affiliates from the Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards. Moses Brown (Toronto Raptors) has spent the past four seasons competing in the NBA.

Joining Bernard, Brown, Juzang and Watson in this year's NBA Summer League are Amari Bailey, Tyger Campbell, Jaylen Clark, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and David Singleton. Those five Bruins helped UCLA's 2022-23 squad win the Pac-12 regular-season title and compile a 31-6 overall record.

Bailey and Jaquez Jr. each played in two contests (July 3-5) in the California Classic Summer League for the Charlotte Hornets and the Miami Heat, respectively. Bailey was a second-round NBA Draft selection last month by the Hornets (No. 41 overall), while Jaquez Jr. was chosen in the first round of the draft by Miami (No. 18 overall).

Bailey averaged 11.5 points and 3.5 rebounds through his first two NBA Summer League contests in Sacramento (on Monday and Wednesday). Jaquez Jr. registered 13.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in two NBA Summer League contests in Sacramento (on Monday and Wednesday).

Clark continues to recover from his lower right leg injury, but joins the Minnesota Timberwolves summer league roster after the organization selected him No. 53 overall in last month's NBA Draft.

Campbell and Singleton signed as free agents with the Orlando Magic and the Atlanta Hawks, respectively, and will look to launch their professional careers at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Campbell and Singleton each spent the past five seasons at UCLA, making significant contributions to UCLA's Final Four run in 2021 and subsequent trips to the Sweet 16 in 2022 and 2023.

Watson averaged 3.3 points and 1.6 rebounds in 23 regular-season contests last year for Denver. He also played in five postseason games, as the Nuggets won their first-ever NBA Championship. A first-round NBA Draft selection by Denver in June of 2022, Watson spent a portion of the 2022-23 season in the NBA's G League with the Grand Rapids Gold.

Juzang averaged 4.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 18 regular-season games last year with Utah. Juzang spent the bulk of the 2022-23 season playing for the Salt Lake City Stars before being called up to the Utah Jazz's roster in late February of 2023.

Brown averaged 4.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in 36 NBA games last season, playing in 34 contests for the Los Angeles Clippers. In total, Brown has averaged 5.5 points and 5.2 rebounds in 128 career NBA contests.

Watson, Juzang and Bernard all competed in the NBA Summer League last July. Bernard played in the NBA's G League with the Motor City Cruise (Detroit's affiliate) and the Capital City Go-Go (Washington's affiliate).

The NBA Summer League games (schedule here) in Las Vegas will begin on Friday, July 7, with an eight-game slate that day lined up between two venues (Thomas & Mack Center, and Cox Pavilion). Former UCLA players who could be in action this Friday include Brown (with Toronto), Watson (with Denver), Bailey (with Charlotte) and Singleton (with Atlanta).
