Women's soccer forward totaled two goals and one assist in two wins.

Forward Ally Cook of the UCLA women's soccer team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Aug. 21-27.

Cook, a graduate student from Coto de Caza, Calif., totaled two goals and one assist in a pair of Bruin victories last week and has scored a goal in each of UCLA's first three contests. In a 2-1 win over Cal Poly on Aug. 24, she scored the game's first goal, sending in a header with her back to goal in the first half. In the 4-0 win at UC Irvine on Sunday night, Cook once again netted the first goal of the game on another header that proved to be the game-winning goal in the 18th minute. The Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week ranks second in the conference in goals (three) and points (seven).

This is Cook's first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and her career.

Also nominated: Cheridyn Leverette, W. Volleyball.
