Turner Named Student-Athlete of the Week, Presented by Ready

LOS ANGELES โ Senior Reilyn Turner of UCLA women's soccer has been named the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for the week of Oct. 2-8.
Turner totaled four goals and one assist in a pair of weekend shutout wins over the Oregon schools. With her four goals this past week, Turner moved into fifth all-time on UCLA's career goals scored list with 39 and into seventh on the career points list with 92. In the 6-0 win over Oregon State on Oct. 5, Turner had one goal and one assist.

Turner recorded the third hat trick of her career in a 4-0 win over Oregon on Oct. 8 โ only two other players in UCLA's history have more (Traci Arkenberg and Sydney Leroux). She also moved into a tie for sixth all-time at UCLA with 14 career game-winning goals after her game-winner against Oregon.

This is Turner's fifth-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award and the first of her 2023 season.
