Thirteen Bruins saw NFL action this past weekend

Thirteen Bruins were in action during Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season. Center Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers) helped his club to a big win on Sunday Night Football, defensive lineman Kenny Clark (Green Bay Packers) picked up his third sack of the campaign, wide receiver Kyle Philips (Tennessee Titans) made his first appearance of the season, and kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (Houston Texans) connected for a season-high four field goals.

• Clark, DL, Green Bay Packers – Started and made five tackles. Came up with a nine-yard sack on the Packers' first defensive drive of the game.
Week 6: Bye
• Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Accounted for 13 of his team's 19 points, going 4-for-4 on field goal attempts and converting on his lone PAT try. His field goals were from 28, 38, 42, and 43 yards. His four field goal makes were a season-high, and his 43-yard conversion was his longest so far this season. Fairbairn recorded four touchbacks on kickoffs.

• Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Started and made three tackles. Added one quarterback hit.  
Week 6: Monday at Los Angeles Chargers – 5:15 p.m. PT (ABC)
• Philips, WR, Tennessee Titans – In his season debut, returned one punt for 12 yards.
Week 6: Sunday vs. Baltimore – 6:30 a.m. PT (NFL Network)
• Matthew Slater, WR, New England Patriots – Made one tackle on special teams.
Week 6: Sunday at Las Vegas – 1:05 p.m. PT (CBS)
• LB Krys Barnes (Arizona Cardinals), Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), CB Darnay Holmes (New York Giants), C Andre James (Las Vegas Raiders), TE Marcedes Lewis (Chicago Bears), OL Atonio Mafi (New England Patriots), and T Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders) also played, but did not record any statistics.
