UCLA Gymnastics Announces 2024 Schedule

UCLA will host five regular season home gymnastics meets in 2024, along with the preseason Meet the Bruins exhibition. Six of UCLA's regular season dual meets will be televised on Pac-12 Network, and the Jan. 13 invitational with Oklahoma, LSU and Utah will be televised live on ABC, UCLA's first-ever appearance on the network.

The Bruins' home opener will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 6pm against Washington. UCLA will be at home again the following week on Sunday, Feb. 4 for a at 2pm dual meet against Arizona. The Bruins will face Utah on President's Day, hosting the Utes on Monday, Feb. 19 at 2:30pm, before welcoming California to Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2pm. UCLA closes the regular season on Saturday, March 16 at 2pm with a home tri-meet against Stanford and first-year program Clemson on Senior Day. Meet the Bruins will take place on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 at 7pm.

UCLA road meets include the ESPN Events Invitational in West Valley City, Utah on Jan. 13, which will be held on podium against Oklahoma, LSU and Utah and televised live on ABC. The Bruins will compete at Denver with Oklahoma and Stanford the following week on Jan. 21. Pac-12 road meets will be at Oregon State on Feb. 9, Stanford on March 1 and Arizona State on March 9. The final Pac-12 Championship will take place on March 23 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

The Bruins are coming off a Pac-12 regular season co-championship and NCAA Championship appearance in 2023, UCLA's first year under The R.C. Rothman UCLA Head Gymnastics Coach Janelle McDonald. The Bruins, who finished the season ranked No. 5 overall, scored 197 or higher in all but one meet in 2023 and had three scores of 198 or higher, including a high of 198.275. UCLA went 24-for-24 in 12 of its 14 meets, the most by any team in school history. The Bruins return four All-Americans in Chae Campbell, Margzetta Frazier, Selena Harris and Emma Malabuyo and also add another All-American in graduate transfer Nya Reed.
