MVB Opens Play in SAC Invitational

ย The UCLA men's volleyball team opened play in the annual Fall SAC Invitational on Friday night with by splitting a pair of matches against CSUN. In the opener, the Bruins lost in five sets after a reverse sweep by the Matadors. Scores of that match were 21-25, 18-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-10. In the nightcap, UCLA bested CSUN in three sets in a match added to the schedule at the last minute. Scores of the match were 25-20, 23-25, 15-10.

ย Play continues in the Fall SAC Invitational on Saturday with the Bruins scheduled to meet teams from UC Santa Barbara at 9 a.m., USC at 11:30 a.m. and CSUN at 2 p.m.

All matches are being played on the courts in the SAC Gym on campus. There is no admission charge to the matches but seating is limited. Please use the north doors to enter the facility, on the side which opens onto Wilson Plaza, and head to gym on the top floor.
