Bruin Men Take Third in 4x400m Relay, Wrap Nationals with 11 All-Americans

AUSTIN, Texas โ UCLA men's track and field put its season to a close at Mike A. Myers Stadium with four First Team All-Americans, two Second Team All-Americans and five All-American Honorable Mentions.

Peter Herold earned Second Team All-America in the 3000m steeplechase, his final race with the Bruins. He crossed the line in 8:43.68 to claim 10th in the nation following his Pac-12 runner-up performance.

Jalyn Jackson recorded a mark of 14.93m (48-11ยพ) in the first flight of the men's triple jump. He placed 20th at the national championships and was named All-American Honorable Mention with the result.

The men's 4x400m relay team went into the season finale determined in a strong field of competitors, going up against four sub-three-minute qualifiers. The Bruins recorded a 2:59.82 in the race to blaze their way into third place. Antonie Nortje, Willington Wright, Myles Misener-Daley and Cameron Reynolds earned First Team All-American for their podium finish.
